Eligibility Criteria :
1. Assistant Registrar:
Good academic record plus Master’s degree with atleast 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC 7 point scale from a recognized University. Relaxable by 5% marks in case of ST/SC candidates.
2. Public Relation Officer:
Good academic record plus Master’s degree with atleast 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC 7 point scale from a recognized University. Relaxable by 5% marks in case of ST/SC candidates.
3. Technical Assistant (Computer):
B.Sc with Diploma in Computer applications from a Recognized University with Diploma in Computer application.
4. Computer Assistant:
A graduate in any discipline with Diploma in Computer application from a recognized Institution.
5. Audio Visual Specialist:
Essential Qualification: Matriculate with Audio Visual Diploma from a recognized Institution.
Desirable qualification: To be given to working candidate.
6. Jr.Stenographer:
Essential Qualification: Must have passed PU/Higher Secondary with Diploma in Stenography with speed of 80 w.p.m. and 40.w.p.m. in typing.
Desirable qualification: Functional knowledge of computer application.
7. LDC:
Essential Qualification: Must have passed HSLC or equivalent with a typing speed of at least 30 w.p.m.
Desirable qualifications: Knowledge in handling stores, maintenance of stock register and experience in stock verification. A functional knowledge in computer application.
8. Peon : Class-VIII passed
Company Profile:
The Nagland University was established by the Nagaland University Act, 1989 of the Parliament on 6th Sept. 1994. It is the only Central University in the State having three campuses, viz., Lumami Headquarters, Kohima and Medziphema. At present the University is functioning from its Kohima Campus as Interim Headquarters. The University is located in the tribal dominated State of Nagaland having borders with Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur and Myanmar (Burma on its long eastern stretch). Each Campus has its own administrative and academic unit to manage the day to day educational affairs.
“ The Objects of the University shall be to disseminate and advance knowledge by providing instructional and research facilities in any branches of learning whichever the university may deem fit ; to make provisions for integrated courses in humanities, natural and physical Sciences, Social disciplines in the educational programmes of the University by providing appropriate measures for promoting innovations in teaching-learning process, interdisciplinary studies and research; to educate and train man power for the development of the State of Nagaland; and to pay special attention towards improvement of the social and economic conditions and welfare of people of that state; their intellectual, academic and cultural development".
