Staff Selection Commission, SSC, Applications invites in the prescribed proforma from eligible candidates for the following Group-B non-gazetted posts for various Ministries/ Offices o the Government of India. The Commission holds discretion to fix different qualifying standard for

I. Sr. Technical Assistant Culture -Research Associate (C) : No of Post : 11 posts (UR-7, SC-2, OBC-2), Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 grade pay Rs. 4200/-, Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years. Essential Qualification : Master’s Degree in Anthropology of a recognized university with evidence of specialization in Cultural Anthropology.

Sr. Technical Assistant (Physical) (Research Associate (C)) : No of Post : 11 posts (UR-7, SC-1, OBC-3), Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 grade pay Rs. 4200/-, Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years. Essential Qualification : Master’s Degree in Anthropology of a recognized university with evidence of specialization in Physical Anthropology.
III. Editor : No of Post : 01 post (OBC-1), Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 grade pay Rs. 4200, Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years. Essential Qualification : (i) Higher Secondary or equivalent from a recognized University / Board / Institution. (ii) 6 years experience in editing of films.
IV. Metrological Assistant : 02 posts (SC-2), Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 grade pay Rs. 4200, Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years. Essential Qualification : Master’s Degree in Physics or in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Computer/Instrumentation Engineering of a recognized university / institution or equivalent.
V. Intelligence Officer : No of Post : 50 posts (UR-27, SC-6, ST-4, OBC-13), Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 grade pay Rs. 4200, Age Limit : Between 20-28 years.
Essential Qualification : Degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
